Anyone from a country belonging to the Visa Waiver Programme who is travelling to, or changing planes in, the USA must also have
completed an online application called the ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) at least 72 hours BEFORE travel.
The ESTA is a compulsory requirement and without it you will not be allowed to board your flight to the USA.
