THE I’m jumping the gun. Thank you.
RECORDER:
MR Well, I
POTTINGER:
THE Over to you, Mr Pottinger.
RECORDER:
MR I don’t - the -1 don’t - I
POTTINGER:
THE If you call your evidence to show us that he was not
RECORDER: covered and then we’ll take it from there.
MR Well, we — we — we simply show what he was doing
POTTINGER: at the time and what he said to the officer.
THE Yes. And so, if you want to adduce your evidence that

by Mr Cordell he is...” or “...isn’t covered.” If the
Crown then say, “Well, what he’s telling them is a load
of porky pies” then you have a case.

THE But without knowing the first part
RECORDER:
MR Well, I’ve not seen anything and I — because I know
POTTINGER: the officer rang the company and said he’s — he’s
using it for work but — but clearly the — touting for
work or whatever. I don’t know what the — what the
